I lived here as a child in 1956/7. The garden was magnificent especially the berries. The house was reputedly haunted but we experienced no such thing. The rental included a house keeper and a gardener, both charming people. The bulk of the land surrounding was owned by the neighbouring half of the house, Popeswood. It appears to have been sold off and deveopled.
