Mayflower Sailing Club

A Grade II Listed Building in Plymouth, City of Plymouth

The Piermaster's House (please see note below)

Uploader's Comments

This building is actually the former Piermaster's House (and warehouse below). At one point it was used by the Mayflower Sailing Club, but the building became semi-derelict and was taken over and became a restaurant and bar, known as Pier Masters House. It re-opened in the summer of 2020. The Piermaster’s House is the only remaining part of the Baltic Wharf Depot which was the Plymouth emigration centre from 1840 to 1893. As many as 400,000 people are thought to have passed through here on their way abroad.
