William Savile 2d Marquis of Halifax, 5th Baronet died 1700. Married 1 Elizabeth daughter of Sir Samuel Grimston and 2d Lady Mary Finch daughter of Daniel Earl of Nottingham. Arms: Argent on a bend sable three owls of the field, and the badge of Ulster, (Savile). Inescutcheon of pretense, Argent on a fess sable three mullets of six points pierced or, in the dexter chief point an ermine spot (Grimston), Impaling Argent a chevron between three griffins passant wings addorsed sable (Finch).
