House. C15 core with mid C18 front, C20 additions to rear. Timber framed, red
brick front with stone coped parapet partially obscuring plain tiled Mansard roof.
Ridge stacks to left centre and ends. 2 storeys over basement to left, attic to
left under flat roofed dormer. 6 bays, three bays to right lower. Glazing bar
sash windows under gauged heads. 6 panel door to left of centre, top 2 panels
glazed under keystone, Doric pier surround with open pediment above.
Left hand return front with angle bay, blocked windows to centre and C20 extensions
to left.
Right hand return: large stone traceried window , C15, brought from Yorkshire in
the 1920's.
Interior: Room to left hand side , C15 framing visible, ceiling frame exposed. Deep
brcik fireplace with wooden lintel and stepped brick flue. 3 framed bays. Queen
post truss with wind bracing, gallery to one end. Oak partitioning and arched
doorway underneath.
