History

Fragment of a C18 building of unknown purpose, sited to N of walled garden. Steep pitch of roof and small continuation of brick front wall may be indicative of a timber-framed structure with brick facing.

Exterior

One bay two-storey house of red brick with slate roof and brick S end stack. W side has cambered headed three-light window with top lights and small panes. Above a leaded casement pair. C20 rendered N wall. C19 lower E range with E end stack.

Reasons for Listing

Included for its special interest as a fragment of the Lymore estate and for group value with other buildings associated with the lost mansion.
