History

Pair of cottages. Circa 1891 built to order of Jane Henrietta Adeane (1842-1926) as part of same development as Plas Alltran.

Exterior

Two storeys, local rubble, rendered and pebble dashed upper floor, slate roofs and large square chimney stacks.

Projecting and gabled bays. Applied ‘half timbering’ to gables; L gable has two 3-light windows to first floor, on ground floor, to L, former shopfront, and smaller 4-light window with stone lintel. To R of gable, small first floor window, and entrance doorway. Right gable has 4-light window to first floor, and ground floor doorway (R) and 3-light window. Left of gable, four-light window to each floor.
