History

G E Street designed a small church for Llandysul 1855, but it appears not have been built; this one is more probably designed by R J Withers in an effectively simple Gothic style. 1858

Exterior

Anglican church, in snecked rubble stone with slate roof. Even ridge line and chancel marked by slated bellcote. Long lancet windows with leaded lights and ashlar flush surrounds, 3 to each side of nave, one to chancel N; chancel S has lean-to vestry with catslide roof and smaller lean-to at left. East end has triplet of similar lancets with stepped heads. W end has rough stone segmental pointed doorway and single lancet over.

Bellcote has battered slated base, squat timber open stage with 3-arch Gothic arcading and overhanging slated spirelet, square broached to octagonal.

Interior

Plain plastered interior with small medieval font, square from octagonal base.
