History

Sub-medieval, extended in C17.

Exterior

Long, single pile one-and-a-half storey range with central gabled rear wing. Front elevation has two gables to left of centre and asymmetrically-placed enclosed gabled porch. Rendered rubble stone, slate roofs. Brick ridge stack to right of centre. Modern casement windows and doors.

Interior

Retains period character. Chamfered and stopped beams throughout. Enormous central stack, probably inserted into earlier hall house, with back to back fireplaces. Pantry in rear wing has unglazed chamfered wood mullion window. First floor and roof spaces not inspected.

Included for the special interest of its sub-medieval interior.
