History

Possibly dating from 1840 (when the former Rectory was rebuilt).

Exterior

High rubble wall topped with upright stones and supported by earth banks above the streets. A projecting lean-to gardener's shed has been added near the curved corner with West Wall; rubble and slate construction with segmental brick arches to boarded door and window openings. The wall continues at a greater height along West wall and curves back into St David's Street to end at the modern entrance to the present Rectory. Short rebuilt sections of wall are splayed back to modern square gate piers.
