History

c1800.

Exterior

3 storeys with 2-storeyed rear wing parallel to street. 3-window range with central entrance. Main elevation is brick, with rubble in gable to street and to rear wing. Hipped slate roof with end wall stacks. Main elevation has central entrance in added brick porch flanked by 2-pane sash windows to ground floor, 12 and 6-pane sashes in upper storeys, with flat arched rendered heads with stressed keystones. Coved plaster eaves. Lower rear wing is a 2-window range.

Reasons for Listing

A well-preserved typical example of a town-house of c1800.
