History

Walls of uncertain date; early C20 photos of parts of the Groves appear not to show the walls

Exterior

Stone rubble walls with rough capping. The walls extend on both sides of the path leading from the NE entrance to the Cathedral churchyard eastwards as far as the junction with the path leading to Priory Well (listed separately). The path then turns southwards to the Struet. High wall on S and W sides of the path with a pair of tall stone gate piers with capping near the junction with the path near the Priory Well. Much lower wall on east side of path in section where it descends to the footbridge over the river Honddu, to the S of Nos 80 to 83 The Struet.
