History

Early C19. Formerly part of number 12, the yard behind variously used as a coachworks and gasworks and the loft as a sail loft. List description of 1975 refers to shop window set within arch.

Exterior

Late Georgian building, stepped forward from attached Nos. 13&14; attached at other side also. Walls painted roughcast; machine-tile roof. Gable end frontage. Two storeys. On first floor is a shallow segmental bay window with tripartite small-pane sash and leaded cornice and bracketed sill. On ground floor is a wide raised stone rusticated elliptical archway with double boarded doors.
