Description

18th and early 19th centuries. Main building broad 3-storey rectangle with 2-window elevations, 2-storey north wing with altered outshot; rubble with slated roofs broad undershot water wheel on south flank, housing now roofless but sluice gear preserved. Formerly had brick chimney, removed in recent renovations.

Statement of Interest

Has been renovated and converted into arts and community centre by Lamp of the Lothian Collegiate Trust; architects for renovation, Maurice Edwards Brown and Associates.
