GV II

Lodge to small country house, and attached gate-piers and
gates. Early C19. Stucco to front and ends; rubble at rear;
dry slate roof with central gable to front, gables with shaped
wooden barge boards; rendered central and end stack on left.
Gothic style features. Shallow plan, probably 2 rooms plus old
extension at far left.
EXTERIOR: single storey; 2-window range with original 2-light
traceried windows. Central gabled porch with chamfered
pointed-arched doorway and pointed-arched lights to returns;
door with 3 vertical panels.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: 4 square-on-plan granite ashlar
gate-piers with plinths, cornice strings and squat pyramidal
caps; cross-braced wooden gates with chamfered and moulded
detail, including central quatrefoils to narrower side gates.
