Former farmhouse (vacant and awaiting repair May 1990).
Probably early C18, reshaped C19 and C20. pebbledash rendering
on brick and stone rubble, clay pantiled Mansard roof between
ogee-curved coped gables, brick chimney stacks. 3-unit plan
with central stairhall.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with attic, street elevation 2 wide bays.
to right of ground floor a small 3-light metal casement
window, and to left of first floor a 4-pane sash window with
exposed sash boxes, both in plain openings, to lower left a
6-panel door in timber architrave with flat timber hood.
Single flat-roofed dormer with 4-pane sash over first-floor
window. Rear south elevation of 3 bays, 4-pane sash windows to
outer bays both levels, with central first-floor window being
a 12-pane sash with radially glazed semicircular head, below a
6-panel door set in C20 rustic porch. Flat-roofed dormers with
4-pane sash windows over each bay.
INTERIOR: features 6-panel doors and panelled cupboard doors,
dog-leg open string stair with stick balusters, turned newel
and moulded handrail, roof structure apparently late C19, with
collared rafters and braces from the tie-beams to ridge piece.
