2 houses, now one house. C17 with probably earlier C19 brick
walls, with later additions and alterations including C20
range to rear right. Reddish-brown brick in English garden
wall bond with plain-tile roof. 3-cell lobby-entrance plan
with outshut to right.
EXTERIOR: single-storey with attic; 3-window range. Plinth.
Off-centre left entrance has C20 door under elliptical arch
between 2 C20 casement windows under elliptical arches. 3 roof
dormers have casement windows. Ridge and left end stack. To
right gable-end: exposed timber-framing, original purlins,
collar beam, 2 queen posts and crossed principals.
INTERIOR: deeply-chamfered beams; inglenook fireplace with
bressumer beam, some exposed small square panels of
timber-framing.
Forms a group with Lapworth Hill Farmhouse and included for
group value with it.
