12/31 The Hollies
GV II
House. late C17. Coursed squared ironstone, asbestos tile roof, brick ridge and
end stacks, that to ridge with stone base. 2-unit plan. 2 storeys and attic;
2-window range. C20 door to far right in early C19 2-storey brick addition, a
16-pane sash window above. A 2-light casement window replacing original entrance
to left of existing door. 3-light casements to ground floor, 2-light chamfered
mullion windows to ground and first floor, a similar window to first floor rear
and a 16-pane sash window to ground floor rear. Single-storey rear extension.
Interior has bar-stop-chamfered spine beams and open fireplace with segmental
arched bar-stop-chamfered bressumer. Old plank doors, one with chamfered wood
door surround. Collar truss roof.
