On corner of Whitley Woodhouse Lane. Architect Henry Woodyer, 1859. Used for services before the opening of his Christ Church (qv). Formerly School and Schoolhouse. Gothic style. Flint with Bath stone ashlar dressings. Tiled roof. One and two storeys. 'L' plan. Five asymmetrically placed gables to front. Schoolroom in gabled break to left with one-light moulded lancets with transoms. Adjacent to right is a stepped chimney stack with datestones. Next a wide gabled dormer, half-hipped with four cusped lancets. Centre right are a pair of gables with half- timbering above paired trefoil-headed windows. Right hand gable full height with trefoil headed lancets, three on first floor and four on ground floor. Entrance to right of centre, pointed arch in thickened wall. Tiled gabled projecting porch to Basingstoke Road. Two chimneys. Dated rainwater heads.
