Greaves Head Farmhouse
and attached barn

Farmhouse and attached barn. c1800 with later alterations. Finely
coursed gritstone, with ashlar dressings. Stone slate roofs with
coped gables, and a single gable stack. 2 storey south front has
central doorway with ashlar surround, to the left a former 2
light mullion window, and to the left a similar 3 light window.
Above a four light and a 3 light similar window, partly
blocked. To the south west an attached barn, with a central cart
entrance with cantilevered ashlar lintel, to the left a doorway
with flush ashlar surround. Above a small window.
