Victorian public house, probably built in conjunction with the brewery opposite.
Dark brick with bright red brick dressings, 2 storeys, double and triple sashes
with stone mullions, bay windows in shallow projections, red brick patterning of
walls, wood gable to doorway. Stable block at rear similar, with slits, centre
chimney, and raised loft door projecting above eaves.

Saracen's Head Public House, stables at rear, No 383 and Greenall Whitley's
Wilderspool Brewery form a group with Nos 3 to 9 (odd) China Lane.
