Large detached villa in grounds. c1820. Painted stucco, deep box eaves, flat
pitched hipped welsh slate roof, two brick stacks. Compact block, possibly
central flat roofed area; two storeys, 3-windowed, all 16-pane sashes, but
first floor lights less wide than ground floor, central 6-panel door of which
4 glazed under fanlight and with Roman Doric portico, column shafts monolithic,
approached by 3 steps, two with nosings. To left is painted squared sandstone
coursed wall c3m high and flat sandstone coping, connecting with former stable
with hipped slate roof, pair garage doors. Carefully assimilated flat-roofed
extension, right and 16 pane sashes on return wall.
Interior with contemporary shutters and stick baluster stair.
