Town house with 2 later shops. Mid/late C18. Incised stucco on
studwork; steep rag slate roof with modillion eaves cornice.
Fairly deep irregular plan, 3 storeys; 3-window range.
Probably original hornless sashes with fairly thick glazing
bars within moulded architraves; 1st-floor sashes shortened
when shops inserted; 2nd-floor right-hand sashes removed at
time of survey. Ground floor has 2 early C20 shop fronts with
end pilasters and plain fascias with moulded cornices. Larger
double shop front on the left with central splayed doorway and
pair of glazed doors; 2 lights to each side and return lights;
slender turned mullions; other shop front with later C20 plate
glass window and glazed door and overlight on its left; house
doorway between with 4-panel door. INTERIOR not inspected but
likely to be of interest.
