Farmhouse: mid C17 with early C18 extension to rear and C19
alterations. Whitewashed and rendered sandstone rubble. Kerridge
stone-slate roof, stone ridge and 3 brick chimneys. L-shaped in plan.
2-storey, asymmetrical 3-bay front. 2-light horizontal sliding sashes
with glazing bars and hammer-dressed sills below, similar 3-light
windows with lintels and sills above. Chamfered doorcase to right
with C20 board door.
Interior: 2 room plan with door opening to baffle of gable fireplace.
Ovolo-moulded beams with plain beam over fireplace lit by window at
rear. Roof truss shows tie-beam over fireplace lit by window at rear.
Roof truss shows tie-beam with 2 diagonal struts above. Extension to
rear has chamfered beams.
