Part of a group of cottages set back from George Street but numbered on
it and reached by a passage way between Nos 27 and 45 on street, Nos 31
to 35 in one block and No 29 at right angles linked with others by its
first floor. No 29 (originally separate) mid C19. Two storeys painted
brick. Gable end slate roof. Two windows recessed sash, no glazing
bars, block sills. Recessed door of six incised panels. Gabled porch.
Nos 31, 33 and 35 as one house, early Cl9. Two storeys red brick
with grey headers and red brick dressings. Low pitch hipped slate
roof, shallow eaves cornice. Three windows, recessed, sash, glazing
bars intact, block sills. Three doors, recessed, two of six moulded
panels. No 33 is flanked by Tuscan pilasters frieze and cornice over.
No 35 has plain doorcase and bracketed hood.

Nos 29 to 43 (odd) form a group.
