GV II
Villa, c1850, painted brick with painted stucco or stone dressings
and slate low-pitched hipped eaves roof with two stacks. Two
storeys, 3-window range, square plan. Front has raised plinth,
rusticated quoins and raised string course. Windows in architrave
surrounds with sills on brackets, three 4-pane sashes above, two
12-pane sashes each side of door in raised beaded surround.
Ground floor tent verandah on eight thin cast-iron Gothic columns.
Rear has three first floor cambered-head 12-pane sashes.
Prominently sited overlooking High Street.
