Pair of shops, probably built as a dwelling, now restaurant.
Late C16 with C18 facades. Timber-framed encased in brick with
plain tiled roof. 2 storeys with hipped gabled dormers to
attic. 5-window range. Paired central doors flanked by small
shop windows, and an additional doorway to the right, all
renewed. Upper windows are mostly 12-pane sashes with a 6-pane
sash over left-hand doorway, and a 2-light casement to the
right. Dentilled eaves band.
INTERIOR: timber-framed structure exposed: square panels with
arched bracing.
