3/124 Longs Farmhouse

GV II

Farmhouse. Mid C17 with C18 added bay to west. Rubble stone and
cob, thatched roof, brick stacks. Single storey and attic, 3-
window. C20 door to left of centre, planked door to right in C20
glazed porch, 3-light leaded casement to left. Two 2-light
casements to right. Three eyebrow dormers to attic with 3-light
leaded or plain casements. Right return has 2-light C20
casements. Left return has attached weatherboarded shed with
planked door and pantiled roof. Rear has two 2-light casements,
C20 conservatory and three eyebrow dormers with 2-light casements
to attic.
Interior has deep chamfered beam with runout stops and another with
stepped stops, open fireplace at west end has chamfered lintel with
runout stops on stone jambs, blocked open fireplace to east.
