Vicarage. Circa 1840. Plastered rubble; rubble and brick stacks; slate roof 2 room
double depth main block facing south with central staircase plan and end stacks.
Service wing under parallel roof offset to left (west) with gable end stack. 2
storeys the main block with attics. Gothick. Gable-ended main block has
symmetrical 3-window front. Central Gothick door with lower pointed arch panels
under 3-pointed lancets is set in arch-headed doorway which includes a fanlight in
head with Gothick pattern of glazing bars. C20 gabled porch. Flanking ground
floor windows are C20 casement but first floor has original pointed arch headed
casements with Gothick glazing bars at top. Similar window on first floor front of
service wing and smaller versions in left end of main block to first floor with
attic. Ground floor windows are rectangular casements with small rectangular panes
of glass. More pointed arch Gothick windows to rear including stair window
containing margin panes and coloured glass. Deep eaves all round with pairs of
shaped brackets. Some original joinery and plasterwork inside.
