C15/C16 altered Cl9. 4 storeys timber frame with plaster infilling. Old tile
roof. Double gabled front with 2nd and 3rd floors oversailing. Wide cut bargeboards
with finials to gables. Beam ends exposed to 2nd floor overhang. Canted bay
windows to 1st and 2nd floors, earlier on 2nd floor with 3 casement lights
to front, altered on lst floor with coved supports. C19 Gothicised shop front
on ground floor. Part of No 1 qv extends over shop. Rear elevation tile hung
and gabled, casements.

Nos 1 to 17 (odd) form a group qith No 36 Silver Street. Rear elevations
form a group with rear elevations of Nos 36 to 52 (even) Silver Street and
St Thomas's Church, St Thomas's Square.
