Formerly known as: Southfield Cottages WATERLOO ROAD.
Pair of Regency cottages. Early C19; altered. Painted stucco,
hipped slate roof. Double-depth plan, each cottage
single-fronted, built halls-adjoining, with back extension.
2 low storeys, 2+2 windows, symmetrical; with panelled
pilasters, a Greek key frieze between floors. Doorways with
panelled doors and fanlights under trellis porch, and blind
windows above these; 12-pane hornless sashed windows on each
floor, those at No.58A now with louvred external shutters.
Oversailing boarded eaves.
Rear and interior not inspected.
Forms group with Nos 52 and 54 to the right (qv).
