Shops with offices. Mid C19. Red Flemish-bond brick with Gault
dressings and slate roof, hipped at west end, with 2 stacks.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys; 2-window range. Plain parapets; edge
pilaster strips of Gault brickwork and raised band beneath
parapet. The 2nd floor has 2 recessed 12-pane sash windows
with flat gauged Gault-brick heads. 1st floor has 2 canted
oriels with lead flat tops and sash windows with one vertical
glazing bar; that to right has extra upper lights with fluted
corner pilasters. The ground-floor unit to left has C20 shop
front, blind box, fascia, leaded lights over plate-glass
window and brick stall-risers. The unit to right has C19 shop
front with end consoles on panelled pilasters and tilted-out
fascia; C20 glazed door under C19 rectangular fanlight and
timber panelled stall-riser.
The western flank elevation to Church Walk has, on 1st floor,
a 12-pane sash window in moulded surround. Shop front returns
on ground floor flanked by a 6-pane fixed-light window.
