House, part now surgery. C16 or earlier. Timber-framed and
rendered with hipped plain tile roof, part of roof over Nos 15
& 17 (qv).
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; one-window range. Short timber parapet on
front. The 1st floor has a 16-pane sash window with moulded
surround. On the ground floor is a larger 16-pane sash with
moulded surround, and doorcase with narrow pilasters and
moulded hood, door of 2 glazed lights over 4 recessed panels
and one stone step with boot scraper.
The rear has a 2-storey projecting part with rendered walls
and a hipped plain tile roof. Tall brick stack abutted by a
lean-to roof and bow window on ground floor.
INTERIOR: not inspected; former jettied cross-wing, part
visible from No.11 (qv).
