Two houses. Early/mid C18. Coursed limestone rubble; gabled stone slate roof;
brick ridge stacks. 4-unit plan. 2 storeys; 4-window range. Central
carriage-way, mostly boarded. No.10 to left has wrought-iron brackets to flat
stone hood over C18 six-panelled (2 glazed) door; No.8 to right has flat stone
arch over C19 six-panelled door. Mid C19 rendered 2-storey bay window to right,
with horned glazing-bar sashes; timber lintels over late C19 two- and 3-light
casements. Gabled roof dormers. Rear outshut. Interior: No1.8 has C18 door and
panelled boxed surround to quarter-turn stairs; segmental-arched fireplace and
plain beams; butt-purlin roof to outshut; roof not inspected. No.10 not
inspected but likely to be of interest.
