5/13 Ridge Farm Cottage

House. Early C17 or earlier, restored in 1980s. Rendered. Left gable end
rebuilt with old red and grey bricks in Flemish bond. Plain tile roof.
Main range, with short, probably slightly later, wing running forwards
from right end of front elevation. Main range 2 storeys, wing 1½. Hipped
roof to main range, with gablet to right. Wing roof half-hipped to front,
with lower eaves and slightly lower ridge than main range; and with
broadly-spaced close-studding to the half gable. Brick stack in rear slope
of roof, towards centre of main range. Irregular fenestration of 2 two-
light casements; one towards left end of main range, and one to half gable
of wing. Ribbed door towards right side of front gable end of wing.
Brick rear lean-to, stopping short of right end. Interior not inspected.
