House, formerly farmhouse. C18; extended C19. Coursed stone rubble with freestone dressings. Slate roof with stone coped gable ends and moulded stone eaves cornice; rear wing clad in Bridgwater tiles.
PLAN: 2-room plan front range with rear service wing and central entrance passage [passage and right-hand room now one]; rear wing extended on left [W] side in C19.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. Symmetrical 3-window south front with small 2-light sashes and casements with glazing bars in moulded stone frames; central first floor small Venetian window in stone frame, its central round-headed light breaking moulded stone eaves cornice; ashlar gabled porch below with C20 glazed inner door. West side has C20 casements and large porch. East side of rear wing has plank door in chamfered stone frame with Tudor arch and 2-light stone windows to right. Gable end of rear wing has similar stone windows to right with casements and lean-to outshut on left.
INTERIOR: Various chamfered and unchamfered ceiling beams, stone flag floor in stairhall; late C19 joinery including panelled doors on first floor. 3-bay roof over front range has two trusses that might incorporate earlier re-used timbers.
