Planned terrace of 22 houses. Early-mid C19. Stucco with
stucco detail; some slate roofs but most replaced with
asbestos slate; parapets with moulded cornices; dormer
windows, the 2-storey houses with mansard roofs and mansard
dormers, some with segmental pediments; brick or rendered
axial and end stacks. Double-depth plan.
EXTERIOR: central 8 houses 3 storeys plus attics and with
triangular pediment over the central 5-window-range pair, the
flanking houses are 2 storeys plus attics. Except for central
pair, each house is a 2-window range. Ground-floor windows and
doors to recessed panels with round arches and impost string;
1st-floor sill string and most window openings with moulded
architraves, the central pair with moulded brackets above
1st-floor windows and moulded architraves also to 2nd floor.
Various late C19 and C20 horned sashes and some late C20
windows and plain fanlights over C20 doors replacing panelled
doors to most houses.
INTERIOR: not inspected but likely to retain original features
of interest.
