Lodge at entrance to park and to planned group of villas. c1850s-60s by George Wightwick. Dressed Plymouth limestone with painted dressings; dry slate low-pitched roof with projecting eaves; central dressed limestone panelled stack with bracketed cornice. Italianate style.

Small T-shaped plan plus rear extension. Single storey; three-bay front with projecting central bay with open loggia with three horse-shoe arches on short columns with central doorway with similar arch within. Similar arches also to flanking bays each with one window; two-light casements with glazing bars.

INTERIOR: not inspected.

Part of a fine planned group of villas. Illustrated in Wightwick's album, who may therefore have designed the villas in Ford Park (qqv).
