Probably C17. Hammer dressed stone. Pitched stone slate roof. Coped gable
ends on cut kneelers. 2 storeys and attics. Moulded string at 1st floor level
on east side. Most windows have concave-chamfered stone mullions, some (later
ones) have square-sectioned stone mullions. East elevation has one 3-light
stone mullioned window on ground floor, one 4-light stone mullioned window
on 1st floor, and one 3-light stone mullioned window in attic. Door has 4-centred
arched head. C19 door with 6 moulded panels. North elevation has 1-storey
extension with stone slate lean-to roof one 3-light and one 2-light stone
mullioned window, and one 4-light stone mullioned window on ground floor.
West elevation has one 2-light stone mullioned window on each floor. South
elevation has one 3-light and one 7-light stone mullioned sash on 1st floor
and one 5-light stone mullioned sash (2 mullions removed) on ground floor.
No 46 is an C18 rendered extension: one 8-light stone mullioned sash on 1st
floor, and one 5-light stone mullioned sash on ground floor.
