Late C16 or possibly earlier timber-framed and plastered house (the roof
timbers are said to be dated 1391). Altered later and in the C18. Renovated.
Two storeys. Four window range of double-hung sashes with glazing bars
on the front and modern casements with bay windows at the rear. Roof tiled,
with an original chimney stack with grouped diagonal pilasters. The interior
has exposed beams. (RCHM 33).
