Early to mid C19. Two houses of separate builds,part of row. Hammer dressed
stone. Pitched stone slate roof. 2 storeys. West elevation: No. 179: Ground
floor; Entrance with stone surrounds. One 4-light stone mullioned window.
First floor; Two 3-light stone mullioned windows. No 181: Ground floor;
Entrance with stone surrounds (one tie-stone). One 5-light stone mullioned
window. First floor; One 8-light stone mullioned window (2 lights are blocked
giving two 3-lights). All lights on west elevation have rounded heads.
East elevation: No 179: First floor; One 3-light stone mullioned window (1
light blocked) (lights have rounded heads). No. 181: Ground floor; Back
to earth. First floor; One 2-light stone mullioned window.
