Late C18 to early to mid C19. Projects forward from No 18 with one window bay
in return. 3 storeys. Front of 3 window bays. Slate hipped roof. Slate cladding
to 1st and 2nd floors. Sash windows with glazing bars intact. Splayed bay window
to left hand bay on lst floor. Paired sash window to right hand bay on ground
floor. Doorway to No 19 to left of this; 4-panelled door with 3-light rectangular
fanlight. Doorway to No 20 at left hand end; flat hood on brackets; 6-Panelled
door with 3-light rectangular fanlight.

Nos 14 to 20 (consec), Cobb House flats, the Old Bonded Store flats and shops
and the Shell Shop form a group. The Customs House partly closes the vista at
the south-west end of Marine Parade.
