House. Late C17 and early C18, remodelled early C19. Regular coursed limestone,
part close-studded timber framing with herringbone brick infill and pantile and
slate roof. Originally 2-unit plan. 2 storeys. 2 bays, one-window range.
Unhorned sash windows, with glazing bars, under wood lintels, to right. Bay to
left breaks forward as a lean-to with catslide roof and timber framed front
wall. Central 2-storey porch also has lean-to roof and recessed 6-panel door.
Central flat-topped roof dormers, ashlar gable parapet to left and brick parapet
on line of party wall to right. Truncated brick and stone stacks at ends. Rear
elevation has a one-window range of sash windows similar to front. Gable end to
road has 2 C20 casements under wood lintels. Interior not inspected but noted as
having spine beams.
