Seven bay barn, originally of early Cl4 much re-built. Timber-framed and aisled
on both sides, the aisles raised later to 2 storey height. Jowled main posts
with passing shores in the aisles and reversed assembly at the original eaves.
Well curved bracing to arcade plates and tie-beams, roof with collars, purlins
and curved in-pitch bracing. Long splayed scarf of circa 1350 survives at one
location, in one aisle, with spur-tie and reversed assembly. One midstrey,
central to north modernised.
