Longton Lane Farm

II

Former farmhouse. Late C16-early C17, with later additions.
Timber-frame and brick with plain tiled roofs. Earliest range
to west, 2-storeyed and 2 bays, with brick infill to lower
storey and close studded timber-framing above, with arched
bracing. Renewed casement windows. Gable end stacks. Rear wing
added probably in C18. Present doorway in rear of this wing.
