ST MARGARET PARISH CHURCH

GV II


C19 house incorporating some earlier features with south wing dated IC 1731 on a
stone plaque. T-plan, 2 storeys. Red brick and painted brick with dressed limestone.
South wing raised to later C19 roof height in brick. Roofs of slate. Four C19 ridge
stacks. East facing facade has one first floor hung sash window in a segmental arch
and 2 brick buttresses to C19 gable with 3 recessed hung sash windows with glazing
bars at both floor levels of C18 wing. The main entrance faces south. The interior
of one room has some C18 panelling.
