5/102 Bowerland Farmhouse
GV II

Farmhouse. C17 with C20 extension to left. Timber frame on brick plinth with
brick infill below, fishscale and diamond pattern tile hanging above. Plain
tiled roof with large offset double stack to right, end ridge stack to left.
T plan. 2 storeys with 2 leaded C20 casements across first floor, square bay window
under pent roof to ground floor right. Leaded glazed door to right of centre
in gable open porch on wooden supports. 1 bay extension set back to right in
similar style with glazed casement doors to ground floor. Right hand return
front: gabled projecting entrance bay with curly bargeboards, planked part
glazed door below in gabled porch.

Interior: Some framing visible with chamfered central ceiling beam and wall
partitions. Deep rendered brick fireplace with wooden lintel.
