south-west of entrance

Drinking fountain. 1864. Paid for by HJ Atkinson. Cast-iron
with stone plinth. Central stem with vine trail ornament and
figures of lizards, with bulbous top and conical round bowl.
Overall square pierced canopy topped with a pierced dome.
Round posts and elaborate cusped round-headed opening on each
side. Above each opening, a roundel with an inscription.
