Farmhouse, now house. Dated 1768 at 1st floor. Handmade red
brick in English garden wall bond (3+1), with sandstone
dressings and stone slate roof. Double-depth plan. Two storeys
and 3 windows, with sandstone quoins and dressings; gabled
porch at junction of 1st and 2nd bays, with round-headed
archway and panelled inner door; 3-light casements with raised
sills and rectangular lintels, and now with C20 slender
glazing bars and double glazing. Shaped datestone above porch,
lettered: B. W I. 1768. Ridge chimney at junction of 2nd and
3rd bays, and gable chimney to the right, both panelled. Left
gable wall rendered; with gabled porch to blocked doorway, and
another blocked doorway above this.
