Houses. Early C19. Brick; ashlar plinth; hipped Welsh slate
gable roofs, with altered roof pitch to right; brick stack to
centre front and rear.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys, attic and cellar; 4-window range: 6/6
sashes under segmental arches; storeyband; 6/6 sashes; stone
coped parapet; two C20 box dormers with casements and lead
roofs.
Entrances to left and right: 6-panel doors and fanlights under
modillioned open-pediment hoods on grooved pilasters; 6/6 sash
to No.13; 8/8 sash to No.12; storeyband.
Rear: late C19 timber-framed bay-window with 4-light casements
and side lights under pentice roof, to No.13; 2/2: 6/6: 2/2
sash to No.12; four 8/8 sashes over; 2-light casement and C20
leaded casement to gables.
INTERIOR: No.12: open well staircase with stick balusters. 2nd
floor: 4-panel door; C19 fireplaces; wall cupboards. 1st
floor: fire surround; 6-panel doors; marble fireplace (front).
Ground floor: 6-panel door; fireplace. Cellar: stone-lined.
No.13: dogleg staircase with stick balusters and swan neck
rail. Attic: two 4-panel doors; plank door to cupboard. 2nd
floor: 4-panel door and 2, 6-panel doors with architraves;
wall cupboards; 6-panel door; window architraves. 1st floor:
4-panel door; two 6-panel doors, 1 with architrave; early C20
bay with window-seat; cornice; panelled risers to front
windows; marble fireplace. Ground floor: inserted part-glazed
4-panel door; five 6-panel doors with architraves; 4
moulded-panel door; overlight with glazing bars; panelled
riser and shutters to front window; marble fireplace. Cellar:
stone-lined; part-glazed 2-panel door; plank door; chamfered
ceiling beam; mantel piece; oak stairs.
