Farmhouse and adjoining cottage, with adjacent outbuildings. Town Farm probably
circa late C18, Heathcot and its adjoining barn C19. Granite rubble walls. Grouted
slate roof hipped at left end. Each cottage has 1 rubble axial stack - central to
Town Farm and between Heathcot and its barn.
Plan: Town Farm has plan of 2 equal sized rooms with central axial stack which -has
back to back fireplaces and lobby entrance in front of it.
Heathcot, added in C19, has smaller 2-room plan with the larger heated room to the
right. The barn adjoining it on this side was probably added later in the C19.
2 storeys. Town Farm to left, Heathcot and barn to right.
Town Farm has symmetrical 3-window front of late C19 4-pane sashes. At the centre
is a hipped-roof stone open-fronted porch which may be original. C19 1-panelled
door behind. Attached at the left-hand end is a lower probably C14 outbuilding
which faces to the rear.
Heathcot has 1-window front of C20 top opening casements. Open-fronted hipped roof
porch to left. Barn attached at right has central first floor loading hatch.
Interior: not inspected, but may contain original joinery.
